I was recently back at my parents house for the weekend and we stayed in my old bedroom which has been completely redecorated (the only thing that is still the same is my wardrobes) and honestly it looks amazing!!
It looks like the perfect guest room, and it has made me rethink some of the things I want in my house.
I have included pictures below (as I can't work out how to put pictures in with the writing yet) so you all can see! The pink kindle and the green bag on the floor are both mine, I am a bit messy!
At the minute every room in my house is white and we were going to paint every room but since seeing my old bedroom in white I am considering leaving the bedrooms white and just choosing bright furnishings. My dad pointed out to me that if we leave the walls white (or leave 3 white and have one feature wall) then we can change the furnishings whenever we want to any colour we want as everything will go with white whereas if we paint the rooms we will have to get bedding and curtains etc to match the walls and then we will become restricted in what we can do.
What are your opinions on this?
