Some facts about me

I thought I would give some facts about me so you can all know me a bit better. Tell me in the comments below or on twitter if you like this kind of post?

1. I am from Sunderland, and so am a mackem. 

2. I went to Sunderland university. 

3. I am married to a scouser.

4. I was a lifeguard for 4 years while at uni (both pool and beach) which I loved and has helped me in my current job as I had my first aid at work and life support 3 qualifications.

5. I work in the labs in an nhs hospital but want to work in research after I have my PhD.

6. I have an older sister who I get on really well with although we did argue a lot while I lived at home.

7. I have a massive fear of spiders!i genuinely had to get someone at work to come and remove a spider from my department on a night shift once.

8. I also have a fear of wasps and do scream when one flies near me which is embarrassing for anyone with me.

9. My favourite holiday destination is Mexico which is actually where I am taking my husband L later this year as he has never been.

10. I went to school with Jordan Henderson who now plays for Liverpool, a fact which L loves as I introduced them once.

11. I also went to school with some other now famous people and the one thing to note about them all is that they all still have the best mates they had while at school which I love.

12. I can't wait to have children! 

13. I own my own house which we are currently decorating.

14. My favourite food is sweet and sour chicken and when I was younger I was a really fussy eater so while on holiday my mam bribed me by saying if I are everything for a whole week I could have sweet and sour chicken on the last day but it turned out to be minging.

15. I loved butlins when I was younger and have been to all of the ones in the uk.

16. My favourite meal in a caravan is stewed steak and mashed potato.

17. I hate the smell of tar when they are laying roads but it is my mams favourite scent.

18. One of my favourite smells is freshly made coffee even though I hate coffee.

19. I live miles away from my family now but I speak to my mam and sister every day.

20. I am obsessed with the play blood brothers, I have seen it four times now, 3 times in London and once in Sunderland. I have the soundtrack on cd and I love it.
